Dryzone are one of the top brands when it comes to damp protection so if trusted quality is at the top of your list, they might be a good choice for you. Thermapaint Anti‐Mould raises the temperature of the wall surface in the room by between 0.5 and 1.2 degrees which is usually sufficient to reduce the incidence of localised condensation by up to 96%. This particular additive comes in a 100ml bottle which is enough to mix with around 5L of paint. And speaking of mixing with paint, you can use this stuff with anything including emulsions, vinyl and if you’re brave enough, silk (sorry silk, but you’re terrible to work with). This of course means you have the freedom to choose your own paint and colour and still get mould resistance.

So what can you use this paint on? Pretty much anywhere! I’ve used this stuff personally on bathrooms, kitchens, en suites and even pool houses. It’s incredible at dealing with high moisture areas.

Apply minimum 2 x coats of “Thermapaint Anti‐Mould” by brush or roller. Additional coats may be required Ronseal isn’t the cheapest anti mould option on the market but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. If you want to prevent mould growth, this is the paint for you. This bathroom specific paint is not only useful in a practical sense of preventing mould, it also gives you an elegant finish that’s tough to match with typical mould resistant paints.
